Father McGivney Office – PH visits hospitals in Manila

University of Santo Tomas Hospital chaplain Fr. Arturo Pestin with the Pastoral Care Service Team received Fr. McGivney prayer cards and newsletters on July 21, 2017.

The staff Father McGivney Office – Philippines (FMO-PH) is visiting hospitals in Manila in order to encourage patients to pray for miraculous healing through the intercession of Knights of Columbus founder Father Michael McGivney.

Father McGivney prayer cards and newsletters were given at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital on July 21 to its chaplain, Fr. Arturo Pestin, who is also a Knights of Columbus member. Pestin said that the materials will be distributed after mass in the hospital’s chapel.

Father McGivney prayer cards and newsletters were also handed to hospital administrator Nixon de Jesus at the Hospital of the Infant Jesus on July 20. He will distribute the prayer cards to the doctors who in turn will give them to their individual patients.

FMO-PH also visited the Philippine General Hospital, San Lazaro Hospital, Jose Reyes Memorial Hospital, Perpetual Succor Hospital, St. Jude Hospital and Medical Center, Mary Chilles General Hospital, United Doctors Medical Center, Sta. Teresita General Hospital, and the Philippine Orthopedic Center. (Julia Ocaya, CBCPNews intern)
