Knights of Columbus Priest-Scholars vow to promote Cause of Fr. McGivney

K of C Priest-Scholars

The Knights of Columbus Priest-Scholars with North Luzon State Deputy Justice Jose C. Reyes, Jr, Chairman of the Knights of Columbus Philippines Foundation, Inc. and K of C Fr. George J. Willmann Charities, Inc., with his wife Sis. Ma. Ofelia B. Reyes; Msgr. Pedro Quitorio, Director of Father McGivney Office – Philippines; and Bro. Roberto T. Cruz, Executive Director for Special Projects and the Fr. George J. Willmann Museum.

The members of the Knights of Columbus Priest-Scholars Association (KCPSA) have committed to help in the nationwide promotion of the Cause of Venerable Fr. Michael J. McGivney.
During the 9th Gathering held in Davao City last April 29 – May 1, 2015, the KCPSA has unanimously agreed to popularize the Cause in their respective pastoral assignments.
The KCPSA, which is presently headed by Fr. Benjamin Deogracias Fajota, is a nationwide association of priests who graduated from the scholarship programs provided by Fr. George Willmann Charities for those who graduated in Philippine Seminary, and by Fr. Michael McGivney Fund for those who graduated further studies in Rome.
Some priest-scholars volunteered to promote the Cause in their own way by translating the Prayer for the Canonization of Venerable Fr. Michael McGivney into their local dialects and distributing prayer cards in their parishes.
