McGivney Prayer Card, now available in 5 dialects

As part of the promotion of the Cause for the Canonization of Father Michael J. McGivney, the Father McGivney Office – Philippines produced canonization prayer cards in five dialects: Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilonggo, Ilocano, and Bicolano.

These prayer cards are to be circulated in various dioceses over the three jurisdictions of the Knights of Columbus in the Philippines, with the initial distribution beginning last April 27 – 29 at the Manila Hotel, during the 9th Knights of Columbus Philippine National Convention.

The Tagalog prayer cards, among the other dialects, almost ran out of copies due to the number of people interested in having them.

Aside from the five dialects, the Father McGivney Office – Philippines will be translating the prayer cards into other dialects in order to propagate the familiarity of Father McGivney not only to the Knights but also to the Catholic faithful all over the Philippines. (Ronalyn Regino)
